Border Monitoring and surveillance through UAV requires very precise operations and highly sophisticated and robust systems, as well as good piloting skills. When UAV disappear from eyes it uses camera visions and on board navigation equipments for sending its visual and navigational data for the ground station. Standard systems for agriculture and weather monitoring usually use +, - 5% tolerance level type system. But for border surveillance UAV should equipped with highly accurate (i.e. 0.1% tolerance level) and redundant navigational systems and telemetry links as well as redundant power supplies. Accuracy and redundancy play an important roll for border surveillance UAVs, because there is a very fine line exists to become “Friend to Foe”. A small mistake of tenth of a second pushes UAV to a extremely hostile region, and airspace violation also cause huge sum of penalties.

As per above mentioned scenario FG has been especially developed a unique system which can fly the UAV accurately as per 100s of preprogrammed way points. This system is called “MINDER” (meaning: Guard).

By using the state of the art GPS technology with digital moving map integration and gyro stabilized cameras and

fuselage stall controller, this system monitors the UAV paths and its flight stability during rest of the flight till landing. This system has been especially developed for medium range and long range border monitoring UAVs to reduce the human interference, because manual tackling of the UAV is quite complex job for ground station pilots at long range distance of 300Km to onward.

FG-MINDER is also equipped with integrated weather monitoring module which sends weather data through telemetry link to the ground station, as weather plays a vital role for stable and smooth flight and to archive the multiple successful sorties.
